Are the Pussycat Dolls on the outs? There have been rumors circulating that the girls may be going their separate ways, but Melody Thornton assures her fans that the group isn't going anywhere, although they are taking some time off. However, that doesn't mean they won't be taking some time off. "Right now the Pussycat Dolls are on a break. It's actually a much-needed break," Thornton told MTV News. "It's like when you're with your sisters for 24 hours a day and you need to take your own shower." Thornton said that the Dolls will eventually find their way back to one another again after they all take a breather. "Yeah, we're taking a break. No, [we're not broken up] ... everybody keeps saying that, but it's like, let me see who took a break? Dave Chappelle. Remember when Dave Chappelle took that break? OK, maybe Dave Chappelle's a bad example. What about, like, Hootie and the Blowfish?" Sure, Hootie and the Blowfish did take some time off only to get back together again, but it's worth noting that Darius Rucker has been recording solo for some time now. Is a solo album in the cards for Thornton? Well, she didn't specify — she just emphasized that she's always making music regardless. "Well, I always tell people that I've been working since the beginning of Pussycat Dolls and making records and always staying true to my passion, which is music, 'cause I love it," she said. "Absolutely I'm making music. I love it and I'm gonna live it." A rep for the Pussycat Dolls had not responded to MTV News' request for comment at press time.

Top 20 Selling Artists Of 2000's

Eminem, who was born 2-1/2 years after the Beatles broke up, is the only artist who has sold more albums in this decade than the fabled foursome. Eminem's new album Relapse sold 608,000 copies this week, lengthening his lead as the artist who has sold the most albums in the 2000s. The rap superstar has sold 31,127,000 albums since the first week of January 2000. In second place: The Beatles, who have sold 27,591,000 albums in the same period. (That's not bad for a group that broke up in 1970.) The Beatles have done better in this decade relative to the competition than they did in the ‘90s, when they were the #5 album-selling act.

Only four of the top 20 album sellers of the 1990s also rank among the top 20 album sellers so far in the 2000s. The Fab Four is joined by Metallica, Alan Jackson and Celine Dion. Nielsen/SoundScan, which has tracked sales for Billboard since 1991, doesn't carry a list of the top album sellers of the 2000s on its site. But the information is all there, if you know where to look (and can do simple subtraction).

Garth Brooks and Mariah Carey, the top two album sellers of the 1990s, don't rank among the top 20 album sellers so far in the 2000s. Other ‘90s titans have slipped even more dramatically in this decade. Michael Bolton, who sold more than 20 million albums in the ‘90s, has sold just 1,809,000 albums since January 2000. Vince Gill, who sold more than 15.5 million albums in the ‘90s, has sold 2,825,000 albums in this decade. Yanni, R.E.M., Boyz II Men, Alanis Morissette, Billy Joel and Van Halen have each sold less than 5 million albums in this decade, also a far cry from their ‘90s tallies.

Seven of the top 20 album-selling acts so far in the 2000s are country, six are rock, four are pop and three are rap. This represents a big gain for rap (none of the top 20 acts of the 1990s were rap). Five of the top 20 acts first hit The Billboard 200 in this decade. Four others had charted in the 1990s, but didn't rank among Nielsen/SoundScan's top 200 artists of that decade. Thus, 9 of the top 20 artists so far in the 2000s registered in a big way only in this decade.

Here are the 20 acts that have sold the most albums since the first week of January 2000. The number immediately after the artist's name is the total number of albums that the artist has sold in this decade. I also identify when the artist first cracked The Billboard 200, and the title of their best-selling album since January 2000.

1. Eminem, 31,127,000. First charted: 1999. Eminem, 36, is the top male artist and the top rap artist so far in this decade. His 2000 album The Marshall Mathers LP is his best-seller. It has sold 10,178,000 copies.

2. The Beatles, 27,591,000. First charted: 1964. The Beatles have sold more albums in the 2000s than any other group, rock act or foreign act. Their 2000 compilation 1 is their best-seller. It has sold 11,402,000 copies. The Beatles were the #5 album-selling act of the 1990s.

3. Tim McGraw, 24,295,000. First charted: 1994. McGraw, 42, is the #1 country artist so far in the 2000s, nosing out Toby Keith. McGraw was the #38 album-selling act of the ‘90s. His 2000 compilation Greatest Hits is his best-selling album of the decade. It has sold 5,995,000 copies.

4. Toby Keith, 24,189,000. First charted: 1993. Keith, 47, is the #2 country artist of this decade. His 2003 album Shock'n Y'All is his best-seller. It has sold 4,420,000 copies.

5. Britney Spears, 22,937,000. First charted: 1999. Spears, 27, is the youngest artist on this list, edging out Josh Groban by one year. She is also #1 female artist in this decade. Her 2000 album, Oops!...I Did It Again, is her best-seller of the decade. It has sold 9,183,000 copies. Spears was the #108 album-selling act of the ‘90s.

6. Kenny Chesney, 21,396,000. First charted: 1996. Chesney, 41, is the #3 country artist of this decade. His best-selling album is 2004's When The Sun Goes Down, which has sold 4,111,000 copies.

7. Nelly, 21,206,000. First charted: 2000. Nelly, 34, is the #1 new artist to emerge in this decade, edging out Linkin Park. He's also the #1 African American artist, edging out Jay-Z, and the #2 rap artist. Nelly's 2000 debut, Country Grammar, is his best-selling album. It has sold 8,454,000 copies.

8. Linkin Park, 21,125,000. First charted: 2000. Linkin Park is the #2 rock group of the decade, behind the Beatles. It's also the #2 new artist. The band's 2000 debut album, Hybrid Theory, is its best-seller. It has sold 9,600,000 copies.

9. Creed, 20,398,000. First charted: 1997. Creed is the #3 rock group of the decade. 1999's Human Clay is the band's best-selling album. It has sold 9,480,000 copies since January 2000. Creed was the #167 album-selling act of the ‘90s.

10. Jay-Z, 19,379,000. First charted: 1996. Jay-Z, 39, is the #3 rap artist of the decade. 2003's The Black Album is his best-selling album of this decade. It has sold 3,338,000 copies. Jay-Z was the #152 album-selling act of the ‘90s.

11. Nickelback, 19,158,000. First charted: 2000. The Canadian group is the #2 foreign act of this decade (after the Beatles). Nickelback is also the #3 new artist and the #4 rock group. 2005's All The Right Reasons is its best-seller, with sales of 7,159,000 copies.

12. Josh Groban, 19,115,000. First charted: 2001. Groban, 28, is the #1 pop male artist of this decade. He's the #4 new artist. The pop/classical star's 2003 album Closer is his best-seller, with sales of 5,746,000 copies.

13. Rascal Flatts, 18,831,000. First charted: 2000. The trio is the #1 country group of this decade, nosing out Dixie Chicks. It's also the #5 new act. 2004's Feels Like Today is the act's best-selling album. It has sold 5,134,000 copies.

14. Metallica, 18,490,000. First charted: 1984. Metallica is the #1 hard rock act of the decade (unless you count the genre-bending Linkin Park). The band's 1991 blockbuster Metallica is the band's best-selling album of this decade. It has sold 3,691,000 copies since January 2000. Metallica was the #3 album-selling act of the ‘90s.

15. Alan Jackson, 18,479,000. First charted: 1990. Jackson, 50, is the oldest solo artist on this list, edging out Toby Keith. 2002's Drive is his best-selling album of this decade. It has sold 3,508,000 copies. Jackson was the #17 album-selling act of the ‘90s.

16. *NSYNC, 18,402,000. First charted: 1998. The boy band is the #1 pop group of this decade (assuming you classify the Beatles as rock). *NSYNC's 2000 album No Strings Attached is its best-seller, with sales of 11,111,000 copies. The quintet was the #80 album-selling act of the ‘90s.

17. Dixie Chicks, 18,293,000. First charted: 1998. The female trio is the #2 country group so far in this decade. 2002's Home is the act's best-selling album of this decade. It has sold 5,997,000 copies. Dixie Chicks was the #105 album-selling act of the ‘90s.

18. Johnny Cash, 17,860,000. First charted: 1958. The country legend, who died in 2003 at age 71, is the most surprising name on the list. He made it on the strength of an enormous catalog and a renewed focus on him after his death. His 1999 compliation 16 Greatest Hits is his best-seller of the decade. It has sold 2,846,000 copies since January 2000.

19. Kid Rock, 17,606,000. First charted: 1999. Kid Rock, 38, is the #1 male rock artist of this decade. Kid's 2001 album Cocky is his best-seller of the decade. It has sold 5,045,000 copies.

20. Celine Dion, 17,579,000. First charted: 1991. The Canadian diva, 41, is the #2 pop female artist of this decade, behind Britney Spears. Dion's 1999 greatest hits album, All The Way...A Decade Of Song, is her best-seller in the decade. It has sold 4,971,000 copies since January 2000. Dion was the #4 album-selling act of the ‘90s.

Yay for Britney coming in at #5 and she is the highest selling female artist of the decade.

Kelly Rowland Considers Dance Sound for the future

Singer Kelly Rowland was in France last summer when she discovered DJ David Guetta, at one of his exhilarating techno shows in Cannes.

When she later met up with Guetta and asked him to play a new track for her, the French DJ unveiled a pop number built around a lush piano loop and throbbing percussion. The track, which would become the groundwork for "When Love Takes Over," moved Rowland to tears.

"I felt so much emotion from the track; something happened the first time I heard it, and it was just beautiful," Rowland says. The former Destiny's Child member took the track to London to write and record the song's vocals.

The finished product was unveiled at a show-stopping joint performance in March at Miami's Ultra Music Festival. Last month, "When Love Takes Over" was officially released as the first single from Guetta's upcoming album, "One Love," and bulleted at No. 2 on the Hot Dance Airplay chart.

Guetta and Rowland will perform the song at various points on Guetta's continent-crossing DJ tour during the summer.

A sugary, synth-laden ode to the excitement of the unknown, the single marks a sea change in style for both artists. After R&B powerhouse Destiny's Child disbanded in 2005, Rowland released her second solo album, "Ms. Kelly," on Columbia Records in 2007. The set offered accessible, uptempo R&B, but none of the tracks was as unabashedly club-oriented as "When Love Takes Over."

"I had spent nights dancing in the South of France from 12:45 a.m. to 8 in the morning," Rowland says, "but I had never thought about recording a dance track myself. Hearing David's song made me consider taking on this whole new style."

Guetta, meanwhile, is banking on the single to garner a stronger stateside following. The 41-year-old DJ has been a staple in French house music for more than a decade, but his fourth album, slated for a late August release, finds him dabbling with a techno/hip-hop hybrid he refers to as "electro-hop."

So far, splicing genres has helped raise Guetta's profile. He recently produced "I Gotta Feeling," the second single off the Black Eyed Peas' upcoming album "The E.N.D."

"The track with Kelly has made me experiment with a more American urban influence," Guetta says. "Musically, it's opened a new world for me. It's pure pop with a lot of detail, and Kelly had this Whitney Houston vibe and nailed it."
The success of "When Love Takes Over" comes at an intriguing time in Rowland's career. An amicable split with Columbia in March led the singer to explore other media, and she landed on Bravo's "The Fashion Show" as a co-host with style guru Isaac Mizrahi. The reality show premiered May 7.

Rowland also is readying a new charity called I Heart My Girlfriend, which will serve as an interactive support system for teenage girls. The program continues Rowland's long line of philanthropic work, including a bone marrow drive she spearheaded in March.

Although Rowland is still between labels and doesn't have concrete plans for another solo album, she hints that her next effort may return the favor for Guetta and focus more on the clubs. "This has definitely inspired me to put more of a dance sound on an album of my own," she says. "I want to try out that world without straying too far from my urban roots."

Carrie Underwood Breaks More Records

Carrie Underwood doesn't only make recordings, now her records are breaking records! With the success of her single "I Told You So," she's become the first country artist to have had 10 singles reach No. 1 on a key sales or airplay chart after only two albums.

Another accomplishment she can add to her bag is being an artist who has a song top the charts twice: "I Told You So" first reached No. 1 when Randy Travis released it 21 years ago. Befor that, Alan Jackson took Don WIlliams' classic "It Must Be Love" back to No. 1 almost nine years ago.

Carrie is also the only American Idol winner to ever reach 10 No. 1 hit songs, starting with "Inside Your Heaven."

Brandy Is Taking Control Of her next album

Brandy stated that she felt the reason her last album 'Human' wasn't commercially successful was because it was "too deep & personal", and that she needed to record the album to come to terms with the accident and to "release the load". She also revealed that she thinks people nowadays want to hear "club" records, but that's not what Human was about. She wasn't too disappointed about the sales though because many fans have told her that the album helped them through the hard times and to her that's an even better form of success.

Brandy then addressed something that a lot of fans have been wondering about Human - why didn't some of the amazing B-sides & leaks make the record? She said that a lot of people & politics are involved in those decisions, and that she never wanted 'Right Here (Departed)' to be the lead single, and that she also never wanted 'Talk About Our Love' to be the first single from 'Afrodisiac'. In fact, she wanted the unreleased track 'Locked In Love' to be Human's first single, and that she will be in "the drivers seat" for her next album because it's her music and she needs to follow her "inner voice".

The next album will be "less heavy" than Human, but just as meaningful like all her albums have been. The currently untitled project's theme will be "love", and will feature production from The-Dream, Pharrell, and Stargate, with hopes to work with Timbaland & Kanye West. Brandy also revealed that she will be writing on the album, and when pressed for a release date she would only say "sooner rather than later".

Beyonce to Take 2 Years Off?

Beyoncé has announced that she is considering taking a two-year career break.

The 'Halo' singer admitted that she is keen to have an extended holiday once she completes her current tour.

"My priorities are slowly changing. So after this tour I might be tired and want to take two years off. I've worked hard enough to be able to do that. I'm in a very good place," she told Marie Claire.

The former Destiny's Child star revealed that she is conscious about scheduling time with her husband Jay-Z.

"We try to sync our calendars. I started working on my tour a year ago just to make sure that I had time at home," she said.

"Any other woman who has to go to work and pick up the kids and make dinner - that's way harder than what I have to do. At least I can say I'm taking two weeks off and really take two weeks off."

Beyoncé recently dismissed speculation that she is planning to start a family soon.

Lady Gaga Fabulous Magazine Interview

Just a few months ago, ‘gaga’ was a term used exclusively for babies, going bonkers or the lyrics to that song by Queen. Today it means blonde hair, big sunglasses and PVC pants. It also means trouble. In just a short time, Lady GaGa has rampaged her way around the world, storming the charts and becoming an overnight style sensation. She’s quickly gained a reputation for being feisty, frank and opinionated. And we’re about to see whether she lives up to it.

In true diva fashion, Lady GaGa turns up an hour late in her trademark giant shades and micro catsuit. We’ve been waiting patiently for her arrival, and when she finally does grace us with her presence, there’s no apology. Maybe she’s a little tired. Maybe she’s feeling a little under the weather. After all, going out in nothing but her undies she’s just asking to catch a chill.

But now she’s here, she means business. “Shall we start?” she says. We get the feeling it’s not a question. But it’s no wonder Lady GaGa is more than a little self-assured. From her point of view, she was destined for greatness.

“Some people are just born stars,” she says in her upmarket New York drawl. “You either have it or you haven’t, and I was definitely born one.

“Even as a kid I always had eyes on me, like bees on honey. I was always outrageous and I was always very smart.”

It may sound arrogant, but she has Lady GaGaalready more than proven her point. A graduate from the Tisch School of Arts (think The Brit School for New Yorkers), Lady GaGa – real name Stefani Joanne Germanotta – has written songs for Britney Spears and The Pussycat Dolls before deciding she wanted a taste of the limelight too. So she gave herself an image overhaul, transforming herself from a brunette in braces and jeans to the bleached blonde siren we know today.

And, in less than a year, she has become pop’s hottest diva, scoring number ones on both sides of the Atlantic with Just Dance and performing with the Pet Shop Boys at this year’s Brit Awards. All this at just 22.
So where did GaGa come from – and what are her crazy outfits all about?

Her style icons are her favourite ‘glam’ rock acts, including David Bowie and Queen – she took her name from the band’s anthem Radio Ga Ga – but she also draws inspiration from her formative years as a stripper.

“I have a strong sense of my own sexuality. I love the naked human body and I have huge body confidence,” she says.

“I was working in strip clubs when I was 18. Girls from my background weren’t meant to turn into someone like me. I come from a wealthy Italian family, went to a good school [she was at the same super-rich Manhattan Catholic girls’ school – Convent Of The Sacred Heart – as Paris Hilton]. You’re meant to live with Mom and Dad until they die. I went against all I was brought up to be; I moved out of home, wouldn’t take any help from my parents [her internet entrepreneur dad and his Lady GaGabusiness partner wife] and supported myself with waitressing jobs and stripping.

“My act was pretty wild. I’d wear black leather and dance to Black Sabbath, Guns N’ Roses and Faith No More. Very rock ’n’ roll.”

Probably more rock ’n’ roll than she’ll admit, as it was around this time she got heavily into drugs – but she quit when her father read her the riot act.

“I don’t like to talk about it too much but there were drugs, serious drugs,” she says. “I wouldn’t want to inspire other people to do the same.” But she doesn’t regret the stripping.

“I discovered a real personal freedom through it. Obviously my parents didn’t like it. I was drawing huge crowds, setting hairspray alight on stage and dancing madly. My dad thought I’d lost it. With the drugs it was his reaction that pulled me back. I didn’t go to Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous. I did it myself. I have such a fear of failure, I didn’t want anything to make me fail. So I stopped. I still drink and party, but there’s no darkness now. Just a lot of fun.”

Fast-forward a few days and Fabulous is chatting to Lady GaGa again. This time, she’s in her hotel room in Bologna in Italy and is in a more relaxed mood. The GaGa confidence is still on full glare but she’s friendlier and even cracks some jokes. And she actually admits it’s not always rosy in the GaGa garden.

Lady GaGa“My problem area is definitely men,” she sighs. “I’ve only ever really been in love once. He didn’t want me to do this job. He wanted me to stay at home, so I left. It broke my heart, but also made me realise music is my first love.

“My music’s never going to roll over in bed one morning and tell me it doesn’t love me any more. I have a problem with rejection.

“I do love British men, though. They’re smart and the accent is borderline pretentious, which I love.”

Could recently single Prince Harry be a contender? “Well, he’s definitely handsome, but I could never give up my leather and lace for the royal family.”

As for another eligible British bachelor, Guy Ritchie, Lady Gaga looks stunned. “God, no! I’d stay away from the Lady GaGaQueen’s ex-husband. I love Madge so it would be way too dangerous.”

And despite the scary clothes and the ego, she insists she’s just a normal gal.

“I behave like Lady GaGa 24/7 because I have to, but the real me is the girl who’s still really close to her mom, dad and little sister.

“I feel so guilty for upsetting them as my family are my life. We’ve come full circle. They are really proud of me. My parents were so excited about me performing at The Brits – that was such a special moment.”

She’s also on her way to becoming amazingly rich, recently being paid £10,000 for a couple of hours DJing.
“I don’t do this for the money,” she says, “I don’t want to buy a flash car. I just want to put everything into my music and art. I’m going to get bigger and bigger.”

You go, GaGa!

Lady GaGa’s new single Poker Face is out April 13.

Taylor Swift Allure Interview

Taylor Swift is positively breathtaking on the April 2009 cover of Allure. Here’s what the 19-year-old country cutie opened up about [via People]:

On not wanting to talk about sex: “It’s fine to talk about love publicly but I think when you talk about virginity and sex publicly, people just automatically picture you naked. And as much as I can prevent people picturing me naked, I’m going to.”

On a bad relationship being a point of inspiration: “Let’s say I date a guy who really does nothing but damage me. And you’ve spent time, you’ve spent effort, and you’ve put everything into trying to make that work. And it didn’t. So you write a song about it. It was worth everything if you write a song about it.”

On fairy tales being a big inspiration: “I have always been fascinated with fairy tales, and the idea that Prince Charming is just one castle away. And you’re gonna run across a field and meet each other in the middle, and have an amazing, perfect movie kiss. And it’s gonna be happily ever after.”

On a not-so-happy ending being more appealing: “For some reason, I could never, ever stop writing songs about heartbreak. Just because as human beings, what we can’t have is what we replay in our head over and over again before we go to sleep.”

Sarah from Warner Bros. Records gave us some updates on Ashley's sophomore album, now we have more info about this.

"Ashley's pretty much finished recording. She has a good handful of songs to choose from for the new album. Although if some amazing song comes her way, of course she'll take the opportunity to go back into the studio. For the most part though she's finished".

We also know that Ashley hasn't picked a title and a lead single for her upcoming album, but the photoshoot is on the way. We can expect a release date in one or two months.

Cher News

Despite performing in Vegas, Cher says she actually "lives like a nun," refraining from speech to preserve her voice, communicating via text and email instead - and not having much sex!

Going into the second phase of her Caesar's Palace residency, Cher revels in the infinite possibilities that the theater offers, because "anything that I came up with we could do, because this theatre is unbelievable."

But after her lavish shows, which include slinky costumes and extravagant theatrics, Cher bypasses the casinos, the Eiffel Tower drinks, the indoor smoking, and the 24/7 pAArty scene to take the 40 minute flight home to Los Angeles.

At 62, the singer - who can boast a hit for every decade - is more focused on work and has a new album in the works, which she describes as "a little bit more guitar-oriented, a little bit more like I Found Someone feeling, and there's some stuff that's still sort of guitar-oriented, but it's got a Southern feeling to it. You know, I just find songs that I like and then I do them and hopefully they make something cohesive."

We're sure it will be faaabulous, just like Jessie James!

i wish her luck but i don't like her music that much

Diddy Album News

Jet-setting is nothing new for Sean “Diddy” Combs. On his latest journey, the music impresario will board a train to Paris for his sixth album.

On last week’s premiere episode of “Making the Band 4,” Diddy announced that his new album will be titled Last Train to Paris. The project is on track for a September release.

The follow-up to 2006’s Press Play will be an electro-hip-hop record featuring heavy use of Auto-Tune. Former Danity Kane member Dawn Richard and T-Pain have already made contributions.

Black Eyed Peas Album News

The E.N.D. set for June 9th release on Interscope - first new studio album in four years, since worldwide 9 million-selling Monkey Business 'BOOM BOOM POW' - FIRST NEW SINGLE GOES TO TOP 40, RHYTHM CROSSOVER AND CLUBS

NEW YORK, Feb. 17 /PRNewswire/ --
After a four-year break between studio albums, three-time Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum Interscope recording group The Black Eyed Peas are back with The E.N.D.. The Black Eyed Peas' fifth studio album is set to arrive June 9, 2009. "Boom Boom Pow," the first new single from the album, will be serviced to Top 40 and Rhythm Crossover radio and clubs.

"We wanted to make a record that would make people dance," reveals will.i.am. In conjunction with the release of The E.N.D., plans call for The Black Eyed Peas to kick off a world tour playing the same global territories they covered over the past five years. Dates will begin to be announced in the weeks and months ahead.

The E.N.D. is the Black Eyed Peas' first original new album since Monkey Business (released May 2005), with sales of over 4 million in the U.S. and worldwide sales of more than 9 million copies. Monkey Business generated Grammy Awards over two consecutive years, when the RIAA gold single "Don't Phunk with My Heart" won Best Rap Performance By a Duo or Group at the 2006 ceremonies; and the RIAA platinum single "My Humps" won Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group in 2007. "My Humps" also won the MTV VMA for Best Hip-Hop Video in 2006.

The intervening three years encompassed a hugely successful solo album from Fergie (The Dutchess, her worldwide 6 million-selling solo debut of 2006 is approaching 13 million in total digital downloads) and a solo release from Producer Of the Year Grammy nominee will.i.am (2007's Songs About Girls), plus two world tours and a live performance DVD (2006's Live From Sydney To Vegas). Of special note is will's involvement in the 2008 Presidential campaign of Barack Obama, whose song, "Yes We Can" was written by will.i.am, as well as the two post-election anthems, "It's A New Day" and "America's Song." For further information and video clips, go to www.dipdive.com.

There were also several notable movie soundtrack contributions over the past four years, including will.i.am's recent collaboration with Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer on the score of 2008's Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. will also lent his voice to the film's animated character Moto Moto. Look for starring roles in upcoming films from Fergie (Nine), will.i.am (X-men Origins: Wolverine) and Taboo (Streetfighter).

With worldwide sales in excess of 26 million units and a total of 11 Grammy Award nominations, The Black Eyed Peas are one of the most successful recording groups. Based in Los Angeles, original members will.i.am, apl.de.ap and Taboo released their first album in 1998, Behind The Front (though will and apl were rapping together for ten years before that). Bridging The Gap, the second Black Eyed Peas album, arrived in 2000.

With 2003's breakthrough album Elephunk, and Fergie's entry into the lineup, the Peas became international superstars. The album spun off the worldwide #1 hit "Where Is the Love," "Shut Up," "Hey Mama," and "Let's Get It Started," which won The Black Eyed Peas their first Grammy Award, for Best Rap Performance By a Duo or Group. Monkey Business extended and surpassed its predecessor, fueled by the back-to-back chart sensations "Don't Phunk With My Heart" and "My Humps." As the group stayed on the road in 2006, the 8-track EP Renegotiations: The Remixes was issued and the touring was chronicled on Live From Sydney To Vegas, the full-length live performance DVD. To date, they have logged 222 headline tour dates in 29 countries with 1.5 million tickets sold.

The E.N.D. now begins the next chapter - and the next decade - in the career of The Black Eyed Peas.
